I am a senior researcher with experience in industry and academic settings. I am currently a Research Lead at Asana, where I study how individuals plan and manage their work. I pursued graduated studies at the UC Berkeley School of Information, graduating in 2020. My research investigated the use of emotion recognition algorithms in automated hiring software, working to demonstrate the risks therein and put forward policy suggestions to curtail such risks. Professor Niloufar Salehi advised the project.
